French progressive metal band Altesia, based in Bordeaux, have announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to support their upcoming third album. The band aim to take their artistic vision to new heights with this record. Fans can now contribute to the album’s release through the campaign, which runs from October 21st to November 29th, 2024.

Altesia’s frontman and guitarist, Clément Darrieu, shared his excitement about the album, which has been two years in the making. “I think this is by far our most accomplished work to date and also our most collective record. This time, we feel like we’ve reached a new milestone, musically, lyrically, visually. It was really challenging and rewarding in the end,” he explained, highlighting the band’s new collaborative approach in the songwriting process.

As an independent band, Altesia are once again self-releasing the album, a decision that comes with significant financial demands. “Higher ambitions mean bigger expenses,” Clément said, noting that this project will include the band’s first-ever double LPs, alongside exclusive rewards like VIP live tickets, new merchandise, and much more.

The band are keeping details about the album’s concept and themes under wraps for now but promise exciting reveals along the way. Supporters can donate through their crowdfunding page, with various rewards available depending on the amount contributed, such as physical copies of the album, T-shirts, and concert tickets.

Formed in 2019, Altesia have quickly established themselves in the progressive metal scene, performing across Europe and sharing stages with legendary bands like Leprous, Haken, and Katatonia.

The crowdfunding campaign is live now and will run until November 29th. Fans are encouraged to contribute and help make Altesia’s vision a reality. Follow Altesia on Facebook and Instagram.
