YES Featuring ARW Manager Asks “Other YES” to “Identify” Themselves

YES Issue Statement on ARW Name Change

According by a post published earlier today by Ultimate Classic Rock, manager of Yes Featuring ARW, Brian Lane, has issued a challenge to Yes, the one featuring Steve Howe, where he says that the current line-up of the Yes band doesn’t feature any original members.

In an email sent to Ultimate Classic Rock, Lane wrote:

It would help prevent confusion among the fan base if the other Yes band would identify their key members as we have.

If you just want to see the original Yes this summer, Yes featuring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin, Rick Wakeman is the band for you.

Pretty ridiculous letter. Both bands feature 2 original members..ARW..Anderson and Wakeman. Yes..Steve Howe and Alan white. Rabin is far from an original member compared to White. Who gives a crap. The fans know the difference. If they can’t all get along and have a proper reunion like everyone would like..than deal with it and don’t whine about it. I saw Yes last year and they were incredible. Way beyond my expectations. Esp with Billy Sherwood who Chris Squire hand picked to replace him. And I’ll be seeing them again this summer with Carl Palmer opening as well as Todd Rundgren. Cant beat that for $55

Neither Howe, Wakeman, White nor Rabin is an original member.

That’s great. They’re a helluva lot closer to original members than Rabin though. Unfortunately Bruford is retired.
