INFIRMUM Release First Single from Upcoming Album

We have already covered Finnish doom/melodic death metal act Infirmum before here on Prog Sphere. The band from Jyväskylä has previously launched a self-titled EP in December 2018, and they are ready to unleash a full-length debut album entitled Walls of Sorrow via Inverse Records on February 28th. A debut single and a lyric video for “Shadows of the Past” can be viewed below.

Infirmum founder and songwriter Timo Solonen said about the single:

“‘Shadows of the Past’ is about struggle in life. How you try to reach something and your past failures haunt you. They try to drag you down as well as some people. I usually compose songs first and then I try to get the atmosphere of the song to the lyrics. I believe lyrics are suitable for this song and you can close your eyes and travel with me. How the path ends, is something you have to see or feel yourself.”
