CHRIS CORNELL’s Wife Writes Emotional Letter to Late Husband

Chris Cornell‘s wife Vicky wrote a letter to her late husband, saying (via Billboard):

“To My Sweet Christopher,

“You were the best father, husband and son-in-law. Your patience, empathy and love always showed through.

“You had always said I saved you, that you wouldn’t be alive if it were not for me. My heart gleamed to see you happy, living and motivated. Excited for life. Doing everything you could to give back.

“We had the time of our lives in the last decade and I’m sorry, my sweet love, that I did not see what happened to you that night. I’m sorry you were alone, and I know that was not you, my sweet Christopher. Your children know that too, so you can rest in peace.

“I’m broken, but I will stand up for you and I will take care of our beautiful babies. I will think of you every minute of every day and I will fight for you.

“You were right when you said we are soulmates. It has been said that paths that have crossed will cross again, and I know that you will come find me, and I will be here waiting.

“I love you more than anyone has ever loved anyone in the history of loving and more than anyone ever will.

“Always and forever. -Your Vicky”

Meanwhile, Vicky‘s mother Toni Karayiannis heavily criticized Eddie Vedder for not paying tribute to Cornell so far and reportedly planning to skip Chris‘ funeral due to touring obligations, noting via Twitter:

“The world is mourning an angel! Chris Cornell! Except one person the person he helped the most! Not human not a man!

“Oh yes! Actually is obvious! Who did not pay tribute to Chris who didn’t say a word on his death like never met him. Only one! Shame on him.

“Who did he help and gave a chance to be who he is! Who said years ago because of Chris! Am I angry? Oh yes! Go ahead say I help his daughter.

“You will find me in your face any time u say u helping people! You sang for his daughter which now you turn your back on? I want his fans to know! You are not a MAN!

“Who’s not man enough not to pay a tribute to the man who gave him a chance to be who he is? To not send a message to his wife and 3 kids.

“Who can be that cruel? One of the kids close to him cry last night you animal! You think I won’t say that? You send nothing to his 3 kids, not a word.

“What did his 3 kids do to you?? Except oh yes I forgot! Their father gave u a chance to be who u are! And that coming from your mouth!

“We play clown to make these angels laugh! You sang daughter? Ha Look the angels you’re hurting, you have kids shame on you!

“My heart breaks to see kids abandon by father’s friend! Especially one totally devastated and in disbelief! You fooled her to believe you care.

“If the child is afraid to tell you, I’m not! You send nothing you’ve done zero, not a flower or note! And she cried! Don’t you dare say his name like Ramone!

“Don’t you dare cry crocodile tears. You’re not using Chris, not a chance! Now the world knows what nothing you are of a man! She cried last night asking why.

“Don’t they say is always your best friend who will hurt you? But not children pls! 3 devastating kids and you turn your back for no reason?

“I only spoke the truth and the cries of a child who was so confused to hear, ‘No, we’re not coming to to your dad’s funeral’!”
