Watch: CHON Release Guitar Playthrough for “Sleepy Tea”

San Diego-based instrumental trio Chon are set to release their new album titled Homey on June 16th via Sumerian Records. Guitarists Mario Camarena and Erick Hansel have launched a guitar playthrough video for the single “Sleepy Tea.” Watch it below.

In a recent interview with EarthQuaker Devices, asked about the title of the new album Camarena commented: “This whole time we’ve been touring I’ve realized how much I love living in Southern California. I’ll be on tour and thinking about being back at home, and what comes to mind is typical Sothern California things, like the beach, palm trees, all that. That’s the vibe for this album.“

Chon will embark on a headlining North American tour in June together with Tera Melos, Covet and Little Tybee. Check the tour dates below.
