Belgrade (Serbia) based progressive/psychedelic/space/electronica purveyors, Temple of the Smoke are about to release their second album entitled The Lost Art of Twilight. The album will be available as digital download starting from December 10th, while physical copies (CD and LP) will hit the shores in January 2013.
The album’s press release reads:
“The Lost Art of Twilight”, as conceptual and mostly instrumental album, it is a sequel to our fist LP. The name of the album itself is homage to Thomas Ligotti’s fiction and the songs are telling a different story of destruction and reinvention of the known world,
by melting all horrors of modern society with astral coming-back of Arcadian nature and stellar love for all beings in universe.
Imaginary taken from George Sterling’s poetry, fiction of Howard P. Lovecratf and Clark Ashton Smith, and “pencil and paper” RPG games (like Changeling: The Dreaming and Warhammer), for us, represents a well known portals into other worlds.
At the end of it all, it is our kaleidoscopic journey through various genres and some kind of instrumental space-rock opera for XXI century…
