Steve Hackett To Release Genesis Selection

Steve Hackett will release an album called Selection on May 13 to tie in with his UK tour.

The disc includes tracks from his acclaimed Genesis Revisited II record – plus a new recording of classic track Carpet Crawlers, featuring fellow ex-Genesis man Ray Wilson.

Hackett says: “This single CD album features some of my favourite shorter songs and highlights fromGenesis Revisited II.

Ray does a great job filling Gabriel’s shoes on Carpet Crawlers, but with his own special style. It’s great to be flying the flag once more for the early Genesis sound on tour.”

Several dates have already sold out. Wilson will guest with Hackett at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on May 14.
