Felix Martin, Bad Salad and Eumeria are three last additions to the Progressive Nation at Sea line-up.

Felix Martin, a left-handed, Venezuelan-born guitar prodigy who moved to America after winning a scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee School of Music. Instead of merely adding an extra string to his instrument, though, Martin took things several steps further and added an entire second set of strings. His self-designed 14-string custom guitar features two seven-string guitars on one wide neck which allows him to play both guitars simultaneously, allowing for his unique system of techniques including eight-fingered chords and slap-tapping techniques.

Soon after signing with Prosthetic in 2012 and releasing the live album “Live in Boston” — hailed by Noisecreep as “a masterclass in forward-thinking guitar” — MARTIN embarked on his first-ever American tour following a successful seven-week tour throughout Europe. Earlier this year, the Venezuelan innovator was seen performing at the annual NAMM Convention in Southern California at the booth of Seymour Duncan pickups, who praised his “incredible level of skill, musicality, dexterity and dedication.”

On his sophomore studio recording “The Scenic Album” — which features fellow Berklee alum Nathan Navarro on bass and drummer extraordinaire Marco Minnemann (Necrophagist, Steven Wilson, The Aristocrats) — Martin plays an eclectic, exhilarating hybrid of instrumental prog-metal, jazz and fusion. Clearly, sometimes it’s better to be strung out.

Bad Salad is a Progressive Rock/Metal band from Brazil.

The band name and attitude may be humorous, but the music is very serious.

Started in 2007 unpretentiously by 3 friends in a small rehearsal room, Bad Salad soon developed into one of Brazil’s greatest names of the genre, reaching and enticing fans throughout the world with a groovy mix of technicality, melody and balls.

Bad Salad released their debut album “Uncivilized” on July 2012, and the follow up EP “Puzzled” on October 2013, both to great critical acclaim.

The band’s lineup consists of Thiago Campos on guitar, Felipe Campos on bass, Caco Gonçalves on drums, Denis Oliveira on vocals, and a very special guest from South-Korea on keyboards, Junghwan Kim.

Eumeria is a multi-national Progressive Metal band, formed in 2009 by American keyboardist Bobby Williamson and British musicians Jonny Tatum (vocals) and Reece Fullwood (guitars).

Combining influences from the world of metal with music from further afield, Eumeria is known for songs that can be both heavy and aggressive in places yet equally intimate and reflective.

Eumeria began as a solo project by Bobby Williamson (Outworld and Thought Chamber), however after he heard the initial demo tracks laid down by Jonny Tatum (Timefall) and Reece Fullwood the project blossomed into a full band. Shawn Kascak (a former Outworld bandmate of Williamson’s) was selected to play bass guitar and Kevin Bartlett was chosen as the drummer.

2011 saw the unveiling of Eumeria’s critically acclaimed debut album “Rebel Mind” (mixed & mastered by Jacob Hansen). The band chose to take a more independent approach with the album by self-releasing through their own label ìRebel Tide Entertainmentî and distributing via the latest digital technologies available on the internet.

Eumeria has stated recently on their Facebook profile that they are currently working on a sophomore release for 2014, as well as planning live shows.
