EMPEROR Confirms 2014 Reunion

Norwegian black metal band, Emperor have announced that they have reunited and will be performing Wacken Open Air Festival 2014.  Wacken Open Air Festival will celebrate their 25th anniversary next year and managed to get Emperor to reform for the occasion. The news was announced at a press conference with W:O:A Festival and Ihsahn and Samoth from Emperor.  During the press conference it was also announced that Emperor would be playing other reunion shows in 2014.  Emperor broke up in 2001, but reunited for shows in 2007.

Wacken Open Air Festival 2014 will take place in Wacken, Germany from July 31st – August 2nd, 2014.
