It’s been two years since this Belgrade-based band’s latest album “From the Wrong Side of the Aperture” was released by Austrian label Noisehead Records. After two turbulent years and a few changes to the line-up, the band has finally assembled itself again and recorded a new song called “Hospitals,” available below for you to stream/download.
A musical path that can be successfully traced from the “From the Wrong Side of the Aperture” album is evident in the new song, but the band has also expanded its horizons by adding an enormous dose of progressiveness and a much more pronounced focus on instrumental complexity. Fans of Gojira, Meshuggah, Opeth, Devin Townsend and Textures should keep their ears peeled for Draconic’s next full-length which should appear some time in 2012, but before that, the band will release another single, which came totally unplanned, after the band recently won a domestic “Bonus Track” contest giving them some free studio time to burn.
Anyway, to make long story short, look below and you’ll find a brand new Draconic track, which sounds pretty damn awesome. Check it out for yourself!
