DAVID GILMOUR Working On A New Album

DG

It’s been seven years since Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour released his last proper solo album, On An Island, in 2006. According to Graham Nash, Gilmour is hard at work on his long-awaited follow-up at his home in Brighton, England.

In a recent interview with Vintage.tv Nash revealed, “I’m leaving here and taking the train to Brighton to go and sing with David Gilmour on his new record.” Nash goes on to say both he and singing partner David Crosby, who each contributed vocals to On An Island, are working for free. “We’re not charging anybody. What the hell would it cost you to have David Crosby and Graham Nash getting on a bloody train to Brighton to sing with you? We are musicians? We love good songs. We will sing them until we are dead,” Nash said.

We’re hoping that this new album comes with a tour as five years after its release, we can’t get enough of Gilmour’s Live From Gdansk live album from his tour in support of On An Island.
