ProgSphere’s AwesomeCast – Episode 24 – EpicCast 1/2

I have just noticed that it’s been 10 months since our last podcast. 10 months that is! It doesn’t mean that I am lazy, but rather that there was a lot of going on and simply, I couldn’t get some “spare” time working on any new episodes. And yes, making a podcast requires a lot of time. But I will not bother you with the whole process of making a podcast, if you wonder – feel free to make one.

Few days ago, I listened to the Tangent’s 2006 A Place in the Queue. Great album! And while listening to the album’s title track, I could not avoid to think about some of my favorite 20+ minute songs. That’s how the idea for this AwesomeCast was born.

But, as I selected 14 songs in total, clocking over 330 minutes, I brought a decision to divide the podcast in two parts, each comprised of seven tracks. And here’s the first half. The other one will be available in the coming days, eventually it will be on air next Saturday.

Speaking of this AwesomeCast, there are no any obscure tracks here or maybe they all are obscure (depends on how you look at it), but there is definitely some great music and for that, you should give it a try.
