Bandcamp undercover: The Cosmic Dead – Orbiting Salvation

Now, I’ve just thought how it’s been a while since we had something posted in the Bandcamp undercover section of the website. Now, we cannot say that The Cosmic Dead is a new name on Prog Sphere, as we already wrote about this Glasgow based progressive/psychedelic/space/drone monster on our pages.

Well, the band is obviously in its full force, they are putting out the “new releases” and that’s great, because they really have what to offer. Orbiting Salvation is not a new release in particular, but rather the selection of songs recorded live on different occasions. The psychedelic/space factor is reduced here by a much larger review to drone/ambient element, what makes these guys to be the experts of atmosphere.
