The grand finale and 3rd place matchups are now live, and it’s up to you to determine the ultimate winner and the podium finishers. Voting is open until November 30th, so make your voice heard!

    Grand Finale: M’Z vs. Rationalist

It all comes down to this. M’Z and Rationalist have fought their way through fierce competition to earn their spots in the final.

    • Hailing from France, M’Z brings an evocative, deeply philosophical approach to progressive rock. Their fourth album is a melancholic reflection on the emotional abysses we harbor, exploring themes of conformity, guilt, and the illusion of freedom in a hyper-marketed world. It critiques shallow positivism and champions the necessity of rediscovering lost innocence and the beauty that inspires meaningful action. With layered compositions and haunting melodies, M’Z delivers music that challenges the mind and stirs the soul.
    • Salt Lake City’s Rationalist have launched their debut Paradox Within Paradigms earlier this year, a carefully crafted exploration of self-discovery and catharsis. With thoughtful and introspective lyrics, this album is inspired by the band’s own personal growth, different perspectives, and the division they see in the world.

Both bands bring unique strengths to the table, but only one can claim the title of Progotronics XLVI Champion.

3rd Place Matchup: Gladiolus vs. Altisonic

While the championship may be out of reach, the battle for 3rd place promises to be just as exciting as the final.

    • Emerging from Brisbane, Queensland, Gladiolus is an ambitious new voice in Australian progressive rock. The project began in 2016 as the brainchild of Dan Hendrex, with a Focusrite interface and a Fractal Audio AX8 in a bedroom studio. It blossomed into a full-fledged band with the addition of Anson Nesci, Joe Shirley, and Zak Muller. Together, they’ve brought a fresh and dynamic energy to the prog scene, proving themselves as rising stars in the genre.
    • Formed in Budapest, Hungary, at the end of 2019, Altisonic blends the best of rock and pop influences into a unique, genre-spanning sound. Their music, characterized by its versatility and infectious energy, has won fans across styles, making them a standout act in this month’s competition.

The battle for third place pairs Gladiolus’s ambitious debut against Altisonic’s cross-genre innovation—a contest of raw potential versus polished versatility.
