Outer Battery Records is proud to announce the release of The Obsessed Live In Köln collectable vinyl LP.  The album hits stores today.  In collaboration with Roadburn, a limited pressing of 800 pieces on grey vinyl with new artwork designed by Guy Pinhas, is out now. An additional run of only 200 copies pressed on blood red vinyl is exclusively available from the Outer Battery website.  Outer Battery Records is distributed by The Orchard.  Sub distributors include CTD, Revolver and Cobraside.

Recorded in 1992 the album features the band’s line-up from The Church Within-era (Scott ‘Wino’ Weinrich on guitar and vocals; Greg Rogers on drums; Guy Pinhas on bass).  The concert took place at Live Music Hall in Cologne, Germany on December 29, 1992...

Here comes the last press release for the coming Falling Down IIV compilation, set to be released on April 30th.

The last confirmed bands are THE FLYING EYES, MONARCH, DYSKINESIA, AIDAN BAKER [of Nadja] and SYNDROME [with special collaboration of CHVE (AmenRa) & Josh Graham (Neurosis, A Storm of Light)]

Unfortunately, Rosetta and Karma To Burn will not appear on this compilation. Why ? We don’t know.

Also, Ahkmed couldn’t provide an unpublished track for the deadline, so they will appear on the Endless CD of the Endless edition.

In more of the compilation digipak 2CDs, there will be the very limited FDIIV Endless Edition, with a CD and a DVD, all in a silkscreened metal box. [ .now sold out ]

19 A.D.D. is the instrumental progressive metal trio from Denver, Colorado that’s been around since 2006, originally formed as Black Helicopters. Led by an idea of mixing complex arrangements and time signatures with ambient soundscapes, they released two albums – 2008′s Dead River and 2011′s GAIA.

Having been compared with the likes such Mastodon, Pelican, Cynic and Behold… The Arctopus after the release of debut, the Denverites were aware that what they do and the way how they do it, has already been a case of study. However, the sophomore album is showing the other side. Taking their refereces carefully, the band decided to get off the easy path and that resulted with GAIA which in comparison with Dead River is taking significantly more serious approach in the band’s craftsmenship...

The Pilgrimage, the awaited second album from Calgary’s MARES OF THRACE, will finally see worldwide release via CD and digital download next Tuesday, April 24th. To count down to the release date, today Exclaim! Magazine is hosting a full album stream of The Pilgrimage AT THIS LOCATION.

MARES OF THRACE will take to the road across North America for a solid month in conjunction with the release of The Pilgrimage next week as well, the first show taking place only two days after the album’s release.
