Unmissable Blues and Bayous Tour with John Fogerty and ZZ Top

Recently, John Fogerty and ZZ Top announced a series of dates for their joint U.S. tour, dubbed the “Blues and Bayous” tour. The pair will travel across the states and perform at indoor and outdoor venues, stadiums and casinos. Expect to hear solo hits from John Fogerty, along with songs from his time with Creedence Clearwater Revival, as well as selections from ZZ Top’s long and successful career. Audiences might even be treated to sounds and musical delights that they have never heard before.

The “Blues and Bayous” tour consists of 24 dates across 22 cities, though more will be added in due time. The first gig takes place on May 25th in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The tour concludes on June 29th in Welch, Minnesota.

A special date is also on the calendar. Willie Nelson will join the tour on June 26th at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt Pleasant. The usual etiquette for casinos will be thrown out for the gigs, but ticket holders should respect casino rules if deciding to play at the casino tables before or after the event. This addition sees yet another legend join the bill, and anyone lucky enough to catch this particular gig will be in for a treat.

Of course, seeing John Fogerty and ZZ Top is good enough! John Fogerty is a rock icon whose career spans several decades. The American singer-songwriter and musician has enjoyed an epic solo career, which peaked in the 1980s and continues to this day. Fogerty is still producing and playing music today. In 2013, he released an LP called “Wrote a Song For Everyone,” and has since signed a new record deal, which includes the production of a new album and the rerelease of older solo works.

With over 45 years of experience both in the studio and on the road, ZZ Top, which still has all the original members, is one of the longest-running major rock bands in the world, which still has the same original members.
