PYRAMIDAL: Through the Frozen Galaxies

Pyramidal

In a documentary titled Through the Frozen Galaxies Spanish space/psychedelic rock quartet Pyramidal discusses about the band’s improvisational side, albums, gear and new music.

Coming from Alicante, a city in the south of Valencian Community, Pyramidal emerged in 2010 as a quartet comprised of Miguel Rodes on bass, Miguel Angel Sanz on guitar, Óscar Soler on vocals and guitar and Lluís Mas on drums. Their first work came up at the end of December 2011 under the title Dawn In Space. A seven track LP mostly instrumental, full of otherworldly sounds, obscure psychedelia and hypnotic rhythms that will take you to the deepest end of outer space.

2013 sees the release of their sophomore album Frozen Galaxies, a four track record that mixes their space rock vibes with heavy prog passages that will make the listeners get into an unforgettable odyssey of hypnotic and lysergic sounds.
