Will GENESIS Reunite For Their 50th Anniversary?

Rutherford, Collins, Banks

Iconic Prog Rockers Genesis could have something in the pipeline for the band’s 50th anniversary.

Mike Rutherford (guitars) hinted that there is a possibility for this in a recent interview with Daily Mirror. He admitted that he though about the idea of reuniting with Tony Banks (keyboards) and Phil Collins (singer, drummer), including doing couple of concerts.

After Phil Collins started performing live again, Rutherford is taking a “we’ll see” approach to the whole idea about reuniting. He said: “I do appreciate the fact that we’re all very good friends, which is nice, especially the three of us. Who knows?

Rutherford is promoting the last Mike & the Mechanics album called Let Me Fly, while Collins has a tour planned throughout June on which Mike & the Mechanics will be the main support act.
