2014 was pretty mixed in terms of the quality of releases that were put out so far. Having said that, we heard some really good records, but naturally there are albums that are total disasters and disappointments.
Prog Sphere made a list of 10 most anticipated releases that are to be released by the end of this year. It’s probable that we forgot some, so feel free to leave a comment naming releases you are waiting eagerly.
Opeth – Pale Communion (August 25th)
This was expected. Opeth‘s biggest joker is unpredictability when it comes to the release of each new record, and that is something that they masterfully perfected over the course of time. Their new, eleventh studio album, Pale Communion, drops out on August 25th via Roadrunner Records, although it was previously announced that it will be released on June 17th. The lead single Cusp of Eternity gives a small insight what to expect from the album. Hear it below.
