RPWL To Release Live DVD In September



German prog band RPWL will release a new live DVD in September. Available through Metal Mind Productions, A Show Beyond Man and Time features a performance recorded at Wyspiański Theater in Katowice, Poland in February.

The setlist is centred on a complete performance of their latest concept album, last year’s Beyond Man and Time, and also draws on classic tracks from their 16-year career. Former Genesis/Stiltskin vocalist Ray Wilson guests on Roses, the single he performed on their 2005 album World Through My Eyes. Bonus materials are to be confirmed, but are expected to include interviews with band members Yogi Lang (vocals, keyboards), Kalle Wallner (guitar) and Werner Taus (bass).

RPWL started out as a Pink Floyd covers band in 1997. They released their debut album God Has Failedin 2000 and have gone on to release six albums, leading up to Beyond Man And Time. The live DVD was recorded at the close of their 30-plus date tour across Europe in support of the album.
