Riverside have completed work on their fifth studio album – they’ll release Shrine Of New Generation Slaves on January 21.
The Polish four-piece have also revealed the first dates of an extensive touring schedule, starting with four UK dates in March next year.
The album was recorded in Warsaw, Poland, and will offer over 50 minutes of new music with track titles including Celebrity Touch, Escalator Shrine and Coda.
Mainman Mariusz Duda says: “In 2012 we’ve been focusing on the new album, and trying to prove, mostly to ourselves, that we can still surprise . What’s most important was to create an album that would become our showpiece, music-wise and lyrics-wise.
“The title might sound a bit intricate, but the acronym will definitely explain what we did with our music this time.”
Shrine Of New Generation Slaves is the follow-up to Riverside’s last full-length album, Anno Domini High Definition, which went gold in Poland, entering the charts at number one in 2009. Last year the band released an EP, Memories In My Head.
