GALAHAD To Headline Proguphoria Festival

Galahad will headline the inaugural Proguphoria festival at Mr Kyps in Poole on October 20.

The five-piece outfit top the bill after releasing Beyond the Realms of Euphoria – their second album of 2012 after Battle Scars.

Also appearing are the Cryptic Clues, the Paul Menel Band and Alan Reed.

Organisers Ministry of Prog say: “Galahad will be playing a selection of songs from both their new studio albums as well as a few golden galaclassics.

“The Cryptic Clues, featuring three original Twelfth Night members, will be performing a series of Twelfth Night standards. The Paul Menel Band will perform songs from the IQ album Nomzamo in celebration of its original release in 1987. Alan Reed will play a selection from his Pallas past and his solo songs.”

They promise a “wonderful evening of splendid music by some of the finest purveyor of what is commonly known as ‘pro-life’ – and a whole lot more besides.”

Other attractions include merchandise stalls, a charity auction featuring rock memorabilia and a prog disco. The venue sells real ales, wines and lagers.

Proguphoria tickets cost £20 in advance, £25 on the door, and are available via www.mrkyps.net or by calling 01202 748945.
