Exclusive: VERSE VICA Stream Debut Album “Endeavor” on Prog Sphere

Verse Vica stream "Endeavor" on Prog Sphere

One of the most recent additions to the progressive metal scene come from Asheville in North Carolina. Verse Vica crafted one of the most forward thinking releases of 2014 so far: a debut instalment entitled Endeavor. In collaboration with HoldTight! PR, Prog Sphere brings you an exclusive premiere of the album. Hear it below.

The album drops out on October 6, and is described as a journey through the realms of prog, metal and post-rock, effortlessly weaving from pounding aggression through fret board gymnastics to intelligent captivating melodies. A 41 minute recording, Endeavor was mastered by Jamie King (Between the Buried and Me, The Contortionist, Scale the Summit), who also mixed the vocals on the album. Besides the version with vocals, it’s planned to release a full instrumental version of the album.

Guitarist Paul Meisner previously commented:

Endeavor represents everything we love about modern progressive metal. Our goal when writing the album was to have it be a single cohesive and unbroken piece of music, yet still allow each song to retain their own unique identity. Whether someone wants to listen to it all at once, or if they want to break it up instead, each will be a different experience. Either way, we really hope people enjoy the record and we can’t wait to share it with everyone!”

Fans of BTBAM, Animals as Leaders, The Contortionist, The Faceless and Periphery may find this album appealing.

Verse Vica is:

Paul Meisner – guitar
