Edison’s Children Release New EP

Edison's Children

Edison’s Children have just released a five-song EP, called (like their 2011 debut album) In The Last Waking Moments.

The duo, who feature Marillion bassist Pete Trewavas and American Eric Blackwood, have made this available for pre-order from their website. You can also get it through PayPal at:http://edisonschildren.com/shop/Paypal/.

The EP features new song Through The Ages, plus live recordings of A Million Miles Away (I Wish I Had A Time Machine) and Spiraling. The latter two songs were recorded when Edison’s Children played at the Marillion Fan Weekend shows earlier this year. The EP also has single and album edits of the track In The Last Waking Moments itself.

Right now, the pair are recording a new album in America. Says Trewavas of the process: “We have been working hard for the last few weeks on what is turning out to be a 72-minute epic song titled Silhouette, and pretty intense it is too. Like the last album, this CD will be a conceptual piece”.

The band now have all of their releases available online at http://www.marillion.com/band/trewavas.htm. These include the first album, the single A Million Miles Away (I Wish I Had A Time Machine), plus In The First Waking Moments. This is an album with remixes and different versions of songs from the debut, and all copies have been signed by Trewavas and Blackwood.  And both are also happy to sign anything else ordered from the Edison’s Children shop, as will the band’s visual artist Wendy Farrell-Pastore.
