Post-metal trio from Belgrade, Serbia, Consecration, have just put out their third studio release called “Cimet” (Serbian for cinnamon). The album was recorded live in studio Underground in Belgrade, during the October sessions in 2011, and was mastered by James Plotkin (Khanate, Phantomsmasher, Khlyst, O.L.D., Atomsmasher, Trifid Project).
It’s comprised of seven tracks and comes both as digital download and CD in special cinnamon-sprinkled cardboard sleeve (see image below). The mainman Danilo Nikodinovski states:
Consecration’s third album “Cimet” is finally out today and can be ordered via Facebook, our email – consecration@gmail.com – or via our Bandcamp page.
By ordering the “Cimet” CD (mastered by James Plotkin) you are directly helping us to keep the band going and more importantly, helping us finish our next record, entitled “unIVerzum zna”, which is being mixed by Aaron Harris of ISIS at the moment in his Vista studio in Los Angeles, CA.
The more “Cimet” CD’s we sell, sooner will the next album see the light of day. And we have to say it already sounds awesome, both Aaron and ourselves are psyched about it. Thanks!
Head over the band’s Bandcamp page, take a listen and order the copy of this amazing album. It’s worth every penny!
