ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE: First Of Three-Part In-Studio EMG Performance Series Posted

AFA

A special live clip of West Coast sludgecore metalists, ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE, performing “Better Worlds,” is now playing courtesy of EMG TV. Shot at EMG Studios, the video marks the first a three-part in-studio performance series, hosted by EMG Pickups.

The tune comes courtesy of the band’s impending The Road Will End full-length, set to drop in North America via Ironclad Recordings on July 23, 2013. Crowned “one of the flat out heaviest records of the year,” by Scratch the Surface, who commends the band’s “hardcore forcefulness, pit-rousing groove, Helmet worship, and d-beat swagger,” ARMED FOR APOCALYPSE is already garnering critical praise nationally for their ten-track offering of no frills, sonic enormity.“It’s fast, it’s slow, it’s melodic but it’s never ever not absolutely bloody furious. There’s something utterly orgasmic about guitars churning away in a ludicrously low drop G tuning. You’ll be humming some of this stuff for days to come, it’s that good,” opines Thrash Hits. Adds Speaker Creatures, “Ever listened to an album that made you want to drag your face on the floor in a good way? “
