Anciients: Heart Of Oak Available For Streaming
Canadian prog-metal outfit Anciients have made debut album Heart Of Oak available for streaming. Hear it below.
The band consists of Kenneth Paul Cook (guitar, vocals), Chris Dyck (guitar, vocals) Aaron ‘Boon’ Gustafson (bass) and Mike Hannay (drums). Reviews have compared them to Mastodon, High On Fire and Opeth.
The record was released this week via French label Season Of Mist, who say: “The modern, progressive quartet craft songs as nuanced and expressive as the range of human emotion. Tracks hit hard and resonate deeply – with Heart of Oak as their calling card, Anciients exude the confidence of a band beyond their years.”
