Bandcamp Undercover: The Ralph – Delimiter

Here’s a new name on the progressive metal scene that actually doesn’t go with a flow. The Ralph are coming from the Croatian capitol Zagreb and they’ve just put out an EP named Delimiter, which is full of great riffs, interesting (and more importantly different) guitar solos and great vocals performed by Karla Stura.

The occasional usage of effects deepens the atmospheric side of the EP, what wrapped up with grandiose sound walls builds a recording that is non-generic. The Ralph embrace the modern progressive metal (aka djent), but still isolate themselves from the crowd by bringing plenty of other elements in the mix. Delimiter shows a great potential to what follows next, and hopefully we will not wait too long for a full-length.
